Getting Back to Wadebridge from Padstow

Once you've enjoyed your ride and explored Padstow, you have several options for returning to Wadebridge:

Number 11 Bus

The number 11 bus runs hourly between Padstow and Wadebridge, making it a convenient and affordable option. Please note that this service does not run on Sundays, so plan accordingly.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Padstow, though this can be an expensive option, particularly for larger groups. It's worth considering if you're travelling as a family or group and want door-to-door convenience.

Arrange a Lift

If you're visiting with friends or family, you could arrange for someone to pick you up from Padstow Town Car Park (GPS coordinates: 50.5390° N, 4.9359° W). This is often the most economical option and means you can take your time enjoying Padstow's harbour, shops, and restaurants.

Why Choose a One-Way Ride?

The Wadebridge to Padstow section is the most scenic part of the Camel Trail, following the stunning Camel Estuary with breathtaking water views throughout. A one-way ride allows you to:

  • Spend more time exploring Padstow's attractions, cafés, and restaurants

  • Enjoy a relaxed pace without watching the clock

  • Make the ride accessible for those who might find 10 miles challenging

  • Have energy left to explore Padstow properly after your ride

How to Book Your One-Way Hire
